I live in Staten Island, NY where I was born and raised. My family is American-Italian and one of those families that actually had a flag pole BEFORE September 11th. My family is one of the most important things to me. Right now I'm in school studying English Literature. It was the fastest way for me to finish my degree so I went with it. I eventually plan to go on to get my PhD biology and ultimately do research in cancer and MS. I have an amazing fiance, Tom, who is the best friend I could ever ask for. He's stuck with me through so much and his love and support amazes me on a daily basis. We will be married on October 25, 2008. In April 2006, I was diagnosed with MS. Since then, life has been turned inside out and backwards but remains an adventure. I currently work part time as a Creative Memories Consultant. I have two dogs. Tom and I brought Talyn home, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, in April 2005. Josie, my family's German Shepherd, has been our protector since December 2001. They are both so adorable! I love music, especially Christina Aguilera and AFI. I love to read books, especially classics and anything science related. I love to learn. My newest hobbies include digital photography, scrapbooking, writing, and cooking. I love video games, especially Mario and Zelda games. Tom and I are hooked to City of Heroes.
